On March 7, 2025, the Director of the Institute and Foreign Secretary of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, Modris Greitāns, participates in the XII DAIF Latvia General Assembly. The DAIF Latvia “Latvian Defense and Security Industry Annual Awards 2025” is also presented as part of the event. Among them, the Annual Award in the “Education” category was awarded to the Latvian War Museum for the establishment of the Center for Civic Education and Historical Awareness at the O. Kalpaks Museum and Memorial Site “Airītes” (a branch of the Latvian War Museum).
The Annual Award is a unique way to highlight the achievements of companies and educational and research institutions while strengthening Latvia’s reputation.
