EDI senior researchers Dr. Kaspars Ozols and Dr. Rihards Novickis participate in the “Tech Talk 2025: Innovating for a Sustainable Tomorrow” event in Athens, Greece. The event is being organized by key technology innovators in Europe, including AVL, NXP, Infineon, Renault, CEA, and IMEC. The goal of the event is to identify the needed aspects and technology drivers for the future set-up of customer-oriented mobility, enabling sustainability and global competition in the European automotive industry.

During the event, scientists and experts from all around Europe explore solutions to ensure a sustainable future for the advancement of the European mobility industry. Participants identified solutions essential for Europe’s future in mobility-related technology aspects such as artificial intelligence, chiplet technology development trends, machine system architecture, development of a self-oriented business model for electric energy, power electronics, cybersecurity in AI-based systems, and immersive driver experience.
