Project general aim is to develop such scientific concept for new type equipment – Universal Time Recorder (further Recorder) creation and development that will provide its competitiveness at world market.
Project specific aim is to develop such essential methods and technical tools, which will give a possibility to achieve significantly enhanced Recorder technical parameters and to increase its usage spectrum.
Scientific researches of the project are in an accordance with defined in Latvia priority research area, “Innovative materials and technologies”, specifically subarea “Electronics and signal processing technologies”.
It is planned to realize the following methods development and research:
- event time registration with ability to register up to 100 million events per second;
- time registration with data compression possibilities;
- high data transmission speed in a computer and network.
As well Recorder prototype will be developed, experimentally researched and evaluated.
Project implementation place – Institute of Electronics and Computer Science, SIA „Eventech” and SIA “Infoserv-Rīga”.
Project duration 18 months from 01.01.2014 till 30.06.2015.
Project planned costs 209951.85 EUR, including 148172.18 EUR from ERDF resources.
