Cooperation with other research institutions
Latvian research institutes and universities
- The contract with the Latvian University of mutual cooperation in education, science, research and innovation, as well as international cooperation (since 2008). As the most successful examples was cooperation with the University and Astronomy, University of Geodesy and Geoinformatics, University of Latvia, as well as the Botanical Gardens, as shown with the written evidence;
- The Treaty of Riga Technical University of mutual cooperation in education, science, research and innovation, as well as international cooperation (since 2007);
- Contract with Ventspils University College of mutual cooperation in education, science, research and innovation, as well as international cooperation (since 2008).
- The cooperation agreement in the field of information technologies since 2007. On the:
– The Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis,
– Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry,
– Latvian University, Institute of Polymer Mechanics,
– Latvian Technological Centre;
- Launched in collaboration with the foundation “Environmental Solution Institute” (Priekulu county, Latvia)
Cooperation with foreign research institutes and universities
- The contract with the Space Research Institute, Department of Satellite Geodesy, Austrian Academy of Sciences in Graz, Austria (since 2005);
- The contract with Changchun Observatory of National Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun, China (since 2004);
- The contract with the Finnish Geodetic Institute, Masala, Finland (since 2001);
- The contract with Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China (since 2008.);
- OSMOSIS in the “TIMA Laboratory” (“a public research laboratory sponsored by Centre National de la Recherche Scientifiques (CNRS), Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) and the Université Joseph Fourier (UJF) ‘) (Grenoble, France);
- Latvian-Belarusian cooperation in science and technology in developing a “Computer Engineering Department of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics” (Minsk, Belarus);
- launched in cooperation with the “Main Astronomica Observatory NAS” (Kiev, Ukraine);
- occurred between study visits with students in cooperation with Tampere University of Technology (Finland).
