On June 29th, 2021, Robotics and machine perception laboratory senior researchers Dr. Kaspar Ozols and Dr. Roberts Kadiķis as well as Cyberphysical systems laboratory researcher Aleksandrs Ļevinskis are participating in the “Programmable Systems for Intelligence in Automobiles” (PRYSTINE) project Year 3 virtual review meeting. During the meeting, EDI-developed technologies, such as DriveByWire system integrated into the KIA SOUL EV passenger vehicle, Point cloud object recognition utilizing DNN capabilities, LIDAR-based localization, Camera-based inverse perspective mapping, Fail-operational object tracking and fusion involving RADAR, LIDAR, Camera sensors, etc. for autonomous driving are presented and demonstrated.
