Institute of Electronics and Computer Science participated in the 25th electronica 2012 exhibition from 13th to 16th november in Munich, Germany. More than 72,000 trade visitors from 78 countries came to Munich. A total of 2,669 exhibitors from 49 countries  institute with researchers Leo Seļāvo, Armands Mezeriņš, Vilnis Pētersons and Juris Siņica – Siņavskis was presented.

The institute booth visitors were from different countries such as Germany, Poland, Italy, India, Pakistam and others. High-precision 15 mkV stroboscopic comparator, high- performance timing system (Event Timer A033-ET), counterfeit chip detection software and other topical studies  were revealed.
EDI researcher Leo Seļāvo demonstrated and presented achievements of the Viesentis project, i.e. EDIMote embedded system prototyping, profiling and testing tool and also MansOS operating system for networked embedded devices.
