From November 7th to 8th, 2023, Deputy Director of Development and Senior Researcher Dr. Kaspars Ozols and Programming Engineer Audris Arzovs of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) are participating in the Horizon Europe KDT-JU “Digitalization of Power Electronic Applications within Key Technology Value Chains (PowerizeD)” project meeting in Vienna, Austria.
During the meeting project partners discuss project implementation aspects, network and make decisions necessary for successful project realization. In addition, EDI presents its research results and project poster for the use case UC1.7 “Systems of Systems”.
Also, Audris Arzovs gives an interview about Federated Learning’s (FL) basic principles and EDI’s role in developing security and privacy aspects of such FL systems, and presented privacy and security aspects of federated learning systems, as well as participated in a panel discussion on federated learning.
