EDI researcher Laura Leja participated in the 13th Latvian Mathematics Conference, which took place on January 24–25 at the University of Latvia Science House (Jelgavas Street 3, Riga). The researcher presented her topic: “Flame Formation Based on Differentiable Physics Simulations with Neural Network Training.” Her work highlights the results obtained in the RoLISe project and the principles of mathematical model development and its application in flame shape simulation, utilizing differentiable physics and machine learning methods.
