(17.09.-19.09) Scientific assistant of the Institute, Romans Maliks has attended 18th workshop “High Performance SiGe BiCMOS Technology Platform for innovative RF and Photonic ICs” organised by “Innovations for High Performace” (IHP) in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany on 17th of September within the “UPIRS” project.
During workshop the SiGe 130 nanometre technology, which is one of the most important for analogue electronics, was presented with latest inventions and successes using the IHP technology, its applications and problem solutions related to it.
During September 18th and 19th Romans attended Design Kit Tutorial on SiGe BiCMOS PDK including Cu backend using Cadence and ADS Interoperability tutorial about latest silicon-germanium technology and PDK presented by IHP. He received certificate for the successful attendance. There was also an excursion to IHP clean room facilities and discussion with IHP representatives and attendants of the tutorial.
