
On 1 April 2025 the General Meeting of the Latvian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association ( LETERA) was held. The Association was founded in 1995 to represent the interests of its members and to promote the growth and promotion of the industry and has organized over 100 members and a total turnover of all members reached in Y2024 over EUR 2.4 billion EUR.
Raivis Bremšmits, Deputy State Secretary for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of the Economy, on support for Latvian entrepreneurs shared the presentation how Ministry of Economy will support the promotion of competitiveness for entrepreneurs. Later on – the floor was given to LETERA members.
Egils Berins presented several solutions developed by EDI scientists in the fields of IoT and robotics applications, told about the awards the Institute has received for outstanding scientific achievement in received the Latvian Academy of Sciences award for an outstanding scientific achievement: “Cognitive Perception and High-Level Instruction Interpretation for Robots Using Natural Language Concepts.”.
Egils Berins also explained the successful collaboration with Primex company and about learning opportunities within the DAoL project support – all expenses will be covered by the Latvian Digital Accelerator. This EDIH offers support to companies in their digital transformation process, from a digital maturity test to personalised training and consultancy.
