On February 7, colleagues from the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) will participate in the 83rd Annual International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia, which is part of the “Computer Science and Information Technology” section. They will present the latest research findings and technological advancements developed within various projects. This event provides an excellent opportunity to share ongoing work, receive valuable feedback, and establish collaborations with experts in the field.

Two representatives from EDI will be presenting their research from the AIMS5.0 project (https://www.edi.lv/en/projects/artificial-intelligence-in-manufacturing-leading-to-sustainability-and-industry-5-0-aims5-0/ ): researcher Laura Leja will present the project’s research “Implementing Robotic System for Dynamic Object Manipulation”, while software technician Makss Meiers will share his research findings on program synthesis with his presentation “Karel program generation with denoising diffusion neural model “.

Meanwhile, research assistant Anatolijs Zencovs will present the results of the IMOCO4.E project (https://www.edi.lv/en/imoco4-e-partner-meeting-in-athens/) with his presentation titled “Object Detection and Pose Estimation for Robotic Arms Using Synthetic-to-Real Data Translation”.
