One year has passed since the SUSTRONICS project began, and a lot of work has been done to ensure successful project execution. From June 3-5, partners are gathering in Oulu to discuss current developments and prepare for a project review with EK experts, scheduled for June 25-26.

EDI is involved in Pilot #2.2, Wearable Health Monitoring. EDI researchers are developing two technology prototypes: a standardized interconnect fabric for wearable electronic nodes and an energy-efficient bioimpedance measurement system using sustainable materials for electrodes. Over the past year, focused work has been carried out on both prototypes. The work will continue with the evaluation and validation of the prototypes and the integration of sustainable principles into future generations, ensuring they meet the performance requirements for wearable health monitoring use cases.
