(22.10.-23.10.) Horizon2020 project partner meeting is held at EDI. More than 50 partners from 13 countries have attended “Autodrive Final Run meeting”. Three day discussion was related to overall project status as well as to necessary actions for successful final demonstrator showcases, that are going to be held in Riga (Latvia) and Malaga (Spain) next year.
Reiner John, a coordinator of the project, has pointed out that AutoDrive project has been chosen as one of the most promising projects from Horizon2020 sub-program ECSEL.
EDI contribution in the project is mostly related to R&D for fault-tolerant communication device that provides features such as fail-awareness, fail-safety, and fail-operationality. These features are crucial for enabling communication between connected cars for Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM).
The Autodrive partners were pleased to welcome ARTEMIS-IA President, Head of the ECSEL-JU private members board and Valeo Group Corporate Vice-President Jean-Luc di Paola-Galloni as an inivted speaker to talk about “Embedded Intelligence & automotive: trends and challanges”.
