The project “Integration of Safe Technologies for Protection against Covid-19 in Healthcare and High-Risk Areas” was recognized with a letter of commendation at the annual competition of the Latvian Academy of Sciences for the most significant scientific achievements in Latvia. EDI researchers took part in the project’s consortium among other institutions. Specifically, EDI contributed to two of the seven prototypes developed in the project: a surface cleaning robot with the ability to recognize specific objects (EDI tasks coordinated by Aleksandrs Levinskis) and a hand disinfection control device (EDI tasks coordinated by Atis Elsts).
