Nvidia Drive PX2 is a computer platform that enables accelerated production of automated and autonomous vehicles. Drive PX2 platform is well suited for the deployment of deep neural networks (DNN) and for the sensor data fusion and processing tasks as it features two integrated and two discrete Pascal architecture GPUs with a total computational performance of 8 TFLOPS or 24 deep learning or DL TOPS. The device features two Tegra X2 SoC’s with ARM v8 architecture CPUs with 12 cores in total, where each of the SoC’s has four ARM-A57 and two Denver cores and 8 GB LPDDR4 128-bit memory and an integrated GPU with Pascal architecture. Additionally, the platform provides UART, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, USB 3.0 and 2.0, 1 and 10 Gbit Ethernet, HDMI and 12 GSML camera ports to support the need for the development of autonomous vehicles.
