On 13 November, Kaspars Sudars, Senior Researcher at EDI, participated
in an event organized by the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science.
During the event, the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Latvia,
Martin Michelet, and the Deputy State Vice-Secretary for European Union
Funds at the Ministry of Finance, Armands Eberhards, signed an agreement
for the “Applied Research” programme. This initiative aims to
strengthen applied research capacity in the fields of information and
communication technologies (ICT) and smart energy. It will provide
opportunities for EDI scientists to collaborate with colleagues from
Switzerland.
