On October 2 and 3, 2024, research assistant Edgars Lielamurs of the Integrated Circuits and Systems Laboratory of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) and electronics engineer Ibrahim Sayed participated in the Baltic Electronics Conference 2024 in Tallinn, Estonia. During the event, the employees of the institute presented scientific papers developed within Horizon Europe ECSEL-JU project titled “Automotive Intelligence for Connected Shared Mobility” (AI4CSM), explained the achievements of the project, discussed the implementation of the project and networked. Edgars presented the article “Spatio-temporal Object Detection with Deep Spiking CNN using Time-of-flight Data”, while Ibrahim presented the article “Deviations Detection in Registered 3D Point Clouds”. In the project, EDI is developing an artificial intelligence-based, close-range and high-resolution 360-degree car perception system
