From June 25 to 27, Dr. sc. ing. Kaspars Ozols, Deputy Director for Development and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI),participates in the Horizon Europe Chips-JU project PowerizeD partner meeting in Stockholm, Sweden.

Project partners exchanged information on project implementation and presented the latest research results on Digital twins, DC-DC converters, Power modules, Automatic code generation, 2-Level Voltage Source Inverters, and more. During the meeting, project partners discussed project implementation aspects, presented updates and engaged in fishbowl discussion workshops. Numerous networking opportunities were also available,, fostering future cooperation to promote project development and the creation of new project proposals.

The Institute was represented in partner poster sessions, presenting the cross-domain topic “Federated Learning” and the use case “Systems of Systems”.

 Project partners were introduced to the results already achieved by the Institute and engaged in discussions on  implementation aspects. In addition, Dr. sc. ing. Ozols took an active part in the workshop sessions, contributing his views on the direction of “Federated Learning”.
