On October 10-11, EDI senior researcher Dr Rihards Novickis and scientific assistant Andrejs Cvetkovs participated in the A-IQ Ready (Artificial Intelligence using Quantum measured Information for real-time distributed systems at the edge) project’s general assembly meeting in Barcelona, Spain.
During the meeting, project management team and general assembly aligned on the progress of the project and held technology supply chain workshops. In A-IQ Ready, EDI leads the project’s 5th supply chain and, together with other partners (AVL and Arquimea research), is responsible for the provision of quantum sensors for underground localization and motor control use cases.
EDI’s main contribution is the development of sensor control, data acquisition, and useful measurement extraction subsystems.
