On June 20-21, EDI senior researcher Dr Rihards Novickis participates in the Horizon Europe / KDT ARCHIMEDES (Trusted lifetime in operation for a circular economy) project kick-off meeting in Catania, Italy.
During the event, the coordinator and project officer re-introduced consortium to the general structure, coordination procedures and objectives of the project.
Further, partners split into smaller technical teams and kicked-off discussions in the project technical Supply Chains (SCs). EDI is a part of the SC3 supply chain (“Long-life, efficient and dependable systems for emergency response, mobility and industry”) and will work on improving quantum sensing technology and utilizing it for the development of advanced Battery Management Systems.
