The Institute of Electronics and Computer Sciences announces a written auction with an ascending step
for the licensing of the following intellectual property: Project (KC-PI-2020/40) “Non-contact ice
thickness radar (EDI-ICE)” know-how, copyrights and related rights.
Applications must be submitted to the Institute of Electronics and Computer Sciences, Dzērbenes Street
14, Riga, 2nd floor in the directorate on working days from 08.30 to 17.00, in a sealed envelope with the
indication: “Application for participation in the auction for the intellectual property of the technology
“Non-contact ice thickness radar (EDI-ICE)” by September 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Alternatively, the
application shall be submitted in the form of an electronic document by signing it with a secure
electronic signature until September 16, 2022 at 13:00 and by sending to the e-mail address info@edi.lv
from September 16, 2022 at 13:00 to 15:00.

The starting price of the intellectual property auction is EUR 235,000.00, excluding value added tax. The
auction is in ascending increments. The bidder with the highest bid will be recognized as the winner.
